Every Memory Deserves to Be Shared

That Reminds Me began with a simple realization: some of the most meaningful stories are waiting for someone to ask the right question.

A familiar word can bring back the sound of an old song, a childhood adventure, a family tradition, a first job, or a person we thought we had forgotten. One memory leads to another—and before long, people are laughing, listening, and discovering new things about those they have known for years.

Created by Charles Jones, That Reminds Me was inspired by the power of remembering together. Charles wanted to create something that would help people slow down, look beyond everyday small talk, and make space for the stories that shape who we are.

Anchor Memories

The game is simple. Draw a card, reflect on its word or question, and share whatever comes to mind. There are no wrong answers, no pressure to remember perfectly, and no need to tell a grand story. Sometimes the smallest memory opens the most meaningful conversation.

Designed especially with older adults, families, caregivers, and community groups in mind, That Reminds Me encourages memory, conversation, laughter, and genuine human connection. It gives every player an opportunity to be heard—and every generation an opportunity to listen.

Because our memories are more than moments from the past. They are pieces of who we are, gifts we can share, and bridges that bring us closer together.

Draw a card. Share a memory. Discover a story.
